Barley grass (Hordeum vulgare) is primarily known as a detoxifying and strongly alkalizing (pH-balancing) superfood. As a rich and versatile nutrition source, it contains nutrients needed by humans in natural proportions.
Barley grass is especially rich in chlorophyll. Chlorophyll functions like hemoglobin by transporting oxygen, nutrients, and blood throughout the body. Barley grass contains abundant vitamins B1, B2, B6, and C. Among minerals and trace elements, wheatgrass contains magnesium, calcium, iron, zinc, manganese, phosphorus, and potassium. Barley grass is also a valued source of dietary fiber.
It also contains many important enzymes, and its 18 amino acids include the eight essential proteins that the body cannot produce itself and must therefore be obtained from food. Barley grass powder is gluten-free because it has not developed gluten before harvesting.
Young barley juice is produced by pressing young barley sprouts. The liquid obtained this way is dried at a temperature not exceeding 31 °C, resulting in powder.
USAGE: Dissolve 1 teaspoon of powder (approx. 1.5 g) in 150 ml of water and drink 15-20 minutes before a meal. Drink twice daily.
