Barley is a particularly rich source of leafy green, or chlorophyll. Chlorophyll works like hemoglobin, transporting oxygen, nutrients and blood to the body. Barley grain contains plenty of vitamins B1, B2, B6 and C. Among the minerals and trace elements, wheat bran contains e.g. magnesium, calcium, iron, zinc, manganese, phosphorus and potassium. Barley bran is also a valued source of dietary fiber.
It also contains many important enzymes and its 18 proteins include the eight essential proteins that the body cannot produce itself and must therefore be obtained from food. Barley grain powder is gluten-free because it has not had time to develop gluten before it is collected.
Young barley juice is produced by pressing young barley sprouts. The liquid obtained in this way is dried at a maximum temperature of 31 °C .
PREPARATION: Dissolve 1 teaspoon of powder (approx. 1.5 g) in 150 ml of water and drink 15-20 minutes before a meal. Drink twice a day.
