DESCRIPTION:

Inulin, fructooligosaccharide (FOS), is a soluble prebiotic fiber that is resistant to digestion and reaches the large intestine essentially intact. Intestinal probiotic bacteria consume inulin, which in turn produce short-chain fatty acids that nourish the cells lining the colon. Inulin thus helps maintain gut health and function. Inulin has a pleasant taste that adds mild sweetness to foods and drinks but has a very low glycemic index and will not negatively affect blood glucose levels.

Inulin.

Ingredients Per daily serving (3 teaspoons)
Calories 15 kcal
Carbohydrates 8.1 g
Dietary fiber 7.5 g
Inulin (FOS) (from blue agave)             8.4 g

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS:


1 teaspoon 1 to 3 times daily. Mix with your favorite drink or food. Start with 1 teaspoon daily and gradually increase the dose to reduce gastrointestinal discomfort.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Dietary supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet.

For adults only. May cause temporary gastrointestinal discomfort. Consult a doctor if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, taking medication, or have medical conditions.
