The symbolic fruit of the Mediterranean coast, the lemon, however, originates from India. Due to its sunny color and scent, it is used in kitchens worldwide.
Lemon essence, traditionally used for its numerous properties, is found in small pockets in the peel. This essence is extracted by cold pressing—a method that involves no heating but subjects the fresh fruit's seed membrane to very high pressure.
Properties: Lemon has a fresh scent. It soothes irritated skin. Lemon essential oil is used to treat cellulite. It is good for digestion and increases alertness.
Our lemon, Citrus limon, essential oil is 100% pure and natural, obtained through organic production methods. Lemon is especially known as a strengthening and stimulating essential oil. It is well suited as a room fragrance. Citrus oils are not recommended for local use.
Diffusion: Add a drop to fragrance oil or a spray bottle and spray into the room. Also suitable for cleaning.
For the skin: Use on the skin mixed with body oil. A couple of drops in a tablespoon of mild body oil gives the skin an intoxicatingly fresh scent.
