Ostrovit Melatonin is a dietary supplement in tablet form containing melatonin. The melatonin product is especially recommended for those struggling with falling asleep, shift workers, travelers, and those frequently changing time zones.

Improve your sleep! Enhance the quality of your sleep! Natural hormone Melatonin. Melatonin is a derivative of tryptophan. It occurs in our body as a hormone produced by the pineal gland. Smaller amounts of melatonin are produced by the digestive system, leukocytes, and bone marrow. It is called the sleep hormone because it plays an important role in regulating sleep time and being awake throughout the day. It is responsible for the feeling of sleepiness as well as lowering temperature and blood pressure during the night.

A significant problem is jet lag syndrome, also known as "time zone fatigue." Symptoms result from disruption of the biological clock's function. The proper functioning of the biological clock depends on the production of melatonin and cortisol. Melatonin helps shorten the time it takes to fall asleep and alleviates the subjective feeling of jet lag. Additionally, melatonin helps reduce oxidative stress.

USAGE: 1 tablet daily 30 minutes before bedtime. A beneficial effect occurs when 1 mg of melatonin is taken just before bedtime or 0.5 mg just before bedtime on the first day of travel and for a few days after arriving at the destination.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The dietary supplement cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet. A balanced diet and healthy lifestyle are recommended. Do not consume if you are allergic to any ingredient of the product. Children, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers should not use the product. Keep out of reach of small children. Do not use while driving or operating machinery, and do not use it together with alcohol.

INGREDIENTS: Fillers: microcrystalline cellulose; starch, anti-caking agents: magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide; melatonin.
