DESCRIPTION:

Borage (borago) owes its name to the cucumber aroma possessed by the leaves of the herb – for this reason, it is used as a kitchen spice. Borage also contains a number of nutritious ingredients that have a beneficial effect on health and beauty.

Borage Oil is a dietary oil containing 80% polyunsaturated fatty acids. Linolenic and gamma-linolenic acids (GLA) are essential fatty acids necessary for the proper functioning of the human body.

Borage oil has a higher concentration of GLA than the analogous extract from evening primrose (EPO). One capsule of Borage oil is equivalent to 5 EPO capsules in GLA content.
