Hepaset PRO – why is it worth it?
Hepaset PRO has a clean composition, is a gluten-free product suitable for vegans, and does not contain milk proteins or lactose. The product is characterized by a minimal amount of food additives. Functions of selected ingredients of Hepaset PRO
L-CHOLINE
Choline contributes to the maintenance of proper liver function. It also plays an important role in the metabolism and transport of lipids and cholesterol. Choline is an integral part of some phospholipids, which are key in the processes of building and functioning of cell membranes. It also contributes to the maintenance of proper homocysteine metabolism.
L-METHIONINE
The L-methionine contained in Hepaset PRO is one of the essential exogenous amino acids necessary for the functioning of the human body (it cannot be synthesized in the human body and must be supplied with food). L-methionine participates in numerous metabolic reactions and methylation processes. Along with cysteine, it is the only amino acid that contains sulfur and provides the body with sulfur groups. It participates in the synthesis of glutathione.
L-ASPARTATE L-ORNITHINE
The L-aspartate L-ornithine (LOLA) contained in Hepaset PRO is a salt of two endogenous amino acids (synthesized by the body): ornithine and aspartic acid. Both L-ornithine and L-aspartate participate in the urea cycle. This is a multi-step process of important metabolic transformations that serve to remove harmful metabolic waste products from the body.
MILK THISTLE EXTRACT/SILYMARIN
Hepaset PRO contains an extract from milk thistle seeds standardized for silymarin content (minimum 80%), as well as silybin and isosilybin (total – minimum 30%). Thanks to the silymarin content, milk thistle (Silybum marianum) supports liver health. The action of silymarin supporting the protection of liver cells results, among others, from its ability to inhibit the activity of free radicals (acts as a free radical scavenger), which are formed in the liver through numerous metabolic transformations.
B VITAMIN COMPLEX
Hepaset PRO contains a complex of six B vitamins, which are essential for the proper functioning of many human body processes. Hepaset PRO contains vitamin B12 and folic acid in methylated form, which is very important due to the bioavailability level of these components.
L-TAURINE
L-taurine contained in Hepaset PRO is a naturally occurring amino acid derived from the metabolism of methionine and cysteine. It plays an important role in fundamental biological processes. Dietary supplements containing taurine are well-tolerated nitrogen sources for nutritional support; they regulate plasma amino acid concentration, nitrogen balance, weight, and serum protein concentration to normal values, thereby improving nutritional status. Taurine participates in many physiological processes, including bile acid conjugation, inflammatory reactions, and glucose metabolism.
N-ACETYL L-CYSTEINE (NAC)
Acetylcysteine is a synthetic N-acetyl derivative of the endogenous amino acid L-cysteine, a precursor of the antioxidant glutathione (GSH), with actions including antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Acetylcysteine appears to have a protective effect on the liver. Many studies have shown that NAC increases GSH levels in liver cells, which in turn has an antioxidant effect in the cells. It increases the protective capacity of liver cells because GSH depletion is often seen as a consequence of increased oxidative stress and inflammation.
SELENIUM
Contained in Hepaset PRO Selenium SeLECT® is a unique chemical unit containing molecularly integrated selenium in place of sulfur in the molecule of the exogenous amino acid – methionine. Selenium SeLECT® is the preferred form of selenium supplementation due to its safety but also recognized as a more bioavailable form of selenium than other selenium and methionine products. Selenomethionine acts synergistically with silymarin and supports it in antioxidant action at the liver level.
MOLYBDENUM
The molybdenum contained in Hepaset PRO contributes to the proper metabolism of sulfur-containing amino acids. Molybdenum acts as a cofactor for certain human enzymes, such as sulfite oxidase, xanthine oxidase (XO), and aldehyde oxidase, which are involved in the metabolism of sulfur-containing amino acids and purine metabolism.

Product usage:
Recommended daily dose: 2 capsules daily, to be taken before or during a meal. Capsules should be swallowed and taken with a small amount of water.
