Acetyl-L-carnitine is an endogenous mitochondrial membrane compound that helps maintain mitochondrial bioenergetics and reduces the increase of oxidative stress associated with aging. Both Acetyl-L-carnitine and L-carnitine are absorbed into the bloodstream. Both compounds are effective in transporting long-chain fatty acids across the cell membrane into mitochondria, where they are burned to produce energy and efficiently used by cells. Acetyl-L-carnitine also crosses the blood-brain barrier and protects against oxidative damage. The Amyloid-beta peptide is a major component of plaques and is believed to contribute to the aging process. Acetyl-L-carnitine exerts a protective effect against such neurotoxicity and oxidative stress. Acetyl-L-carnitine (ALC) easily crosses the blood-brain barrier and potentially may exhibit neuroprotective, neuromodulatory, and neurotrophic effects. ALC may support youthful memory functions, improve mitochondrial structure and function, inhibit age-related oxidative damage, and restore the activity of key enzymes.

acetyl-L-carnitine hydrochloride, vitamin C (as ascorbyl palmitate), plant cellulose (capsule), microcrystalline cellulose, silica.

USAGE:

One capsule twice daily. The product is best taken on an empty stomach, with water in divided doses, 45 minutes before breakfast and lunch.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The dietary supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the preparation. Use by pregnant and breastfeeding women and people taking medications only after consultation with a doctor or other specialist.

Store in a dry and cool place, out of reach of small children.
