Founded in 1997, Aurospirul is an environmentally friendly and social enterprise located in Auroville, an international township in South India.

Aurospirul was established to cultivate and process spirulina – a small algae rich in protein and other essential micronutrients – and to promote the use of spirulina as an effective dietary supplement with many health benefits.

Over the years, Aurospirul has earned a strong reputation worldwide for its high-quality, sun-dried spirulina. Aurospirul has expanded its operations to become a processor and distributor of other health products (supergreens and herbs) from across India.
